1. Conquering faith. (Vv. 32–34)

A. When you act in faith because you trust in God.

Gideon (Judges 6:11–24, 36–40; 7:9–14, 19–23)

B. What God did as they trusted Him. (Vv. 33–34)

Sometimes He miraculously delivers. (Vv. 33–35a)

Sometimes He does not deliver here. (V. 35b)

2. Enduring faith. (Vv. 35b–38)

(Dan. 3:17–18)

A. You trust God no matter the outcome.

B. You trust God is good and He remains faithful.

C. You choose eternal reward over temporary relief. (V. 35; 10:34; 11:39)

3. Perfecting faith. (V. 40)

A. Only Jesus was perfect.

B. Only Jesus can make us perfect
