- The story of Samson. - He was created and called by God.

- He was committed to God.

- He was commissioned for God’s purpose.

- He was set apart to holiness.

- He was empowered by the Spirit with great strength.

- He was compromised by lust and self-indulgence.

- Lessons from the story. - We have a calling from God and purpose from birth.

- Pride and self-confidence always lead to moral and spiritual decline. 
- The lusts of the flesh and indulgence bring deception and defeat. 
- Sin leads to a loss of God’s power. 
- Sin brings weakness, captivity, and suffering. 
- Humility and repentance are the way back to spiritual strength. 
- Sin always has consequences.
