1. Improper Worship

1. When you make worship about you.
   (1 Chr. 13:1-8)

2. When you disregard the Holiness of God.
   (13:9-10; Acts 5:3-9)

3. When you disobey the Word of God.

4. When you focus on the ceremony of worship, not His presence in worship.

2. Proper Worship (1 Chr. 15:1-2, 11-15)

1. Worship that is in Spirit and Truth.
   (John 14:23)

2. Worship that is Holiness.
   (1 Pet 1:15; Isa. 6:1-8)

3. Worship that is Focused on Jesus.
   (Heb. 7:15-8:6; 8:10-12; 9:23-26; 10:19-25)

4. Worship that Yields to His Lordship.
   (1 Chr. 16: 23-31, 34-56)

5. Worship that leads to Love
   (1 John 4:7-8)
