   2. Be changed in heart.

      1. Real transformation.

      2. Pruning must take place. (Vv. 1–2)

      4. Spiritual growth.

2. Love out.

   1. Love on mission.

      1. Producing fruit. (Vv. 2, 5, 8)

      2. Characterized by love. (Vv. 9–13)
         (John 13:34–35; 1 Cor. 13:1–3)

      3. Brings joy – more fruit. (Vv. 11, 2)

   2. God is glorified. (V. 8)

1. Am I spending time with God in a way that is relational and life giving? Why?

2. Do I think of my time with the Lord as a thing to do or as a chance to catch up with a friend?

3. Do I find myself reading the Bible just to check a religious box on my task list? Why?

4. Do I spend time with God a few minutes and then go about my day without Him or do I spend time throughout the day talking to Him and drawing close?
